As part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotasava, Army Public School, Old Cantt Prayagraj under the aegis of Red Eagle Division has organized a noteworthy event on 20th May 2022. The school has created a history and set a National Record to be the first school to register in the INDIA BOOK OF RECORDS for painting on a 75 mtr long cloth by 500 students and 40 teachers in two hrs.
The Chief Guest for special event was Colonel Shashank S Joshi, Commanding Officer, 4Inf Div Sig Regt, Mrs Priyanka Joshi, Principal Army Pre – Primary School, Old Cantt, Prayagraj and Dr Nagina Rajaram from Allahabad Museum. The guest of honor Prof S K Srivastava VC Nehru Gram Bharti University and Mrs Kiran Singh Dy Chairperson Red Eagle FWO also graced the occasion.
The record was part of the school Summer Camp “Full Swing” scheduled from
17 – 21 May 2022. The students took part in various activities like Handicraft, Zumba, Dance and Music, Fire less cooking, Dramatics, and Sports etc. The closing ceremony of Summer Camp was graced by the chief guest Mrs Gurpreet Bevli, Chairperson
Red Eagle FWO. She inaugurated the ceremony by garlanding idol of Goddess Saraswati. Special attraction of the day was the “National Anthem” in Sign Language.
The programme came to end with the address by the Chief Guest followed by vote of thanks by the Principal, Ms Garima Srivastava.
