Hindi Pakhwada Concludes at New Delhi

 

New Delhi, : The Central Council for Research in Unani Medicine (CCRUM), Ministry of Ayush, Government of India organized a concluding ceremony of Hindi Pakhwada 2022 at Ayush Auditorium, New Delhi today.

The Programme began with introductory address by Prof. Asim Ali Khan, Director General, CCRUM. He informed that the Hindi Pakhwada continued from 14-27 September, 2022, meanwhile various competitions were organized by the council and its peripheral institutions. In which departmental Hindi review including Competitions like English to Hindi translation, word knowledge, writing comment on the submitted letter, self-written poem recitation, essay on the impact of Corona pandemic on our lives and debate on technology is a curse or boon in today’s time. He said that it was organised emphasised on promoting the official language and utilizing the opportunity to use Hindi as a medium of instruction and communication. He called for organizing Hindi workshop quarterly in Council’s Headquarters and its subordinate offices.

In his keynote address Prof. Abdul Bismillah, (Retired) of Jamia Millia Islamia said that the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi had asked to make Hindi the national language at the Hindi Sahitya Sammelan in the year 1918 and urged for concerted efforts for the promotions of the language.

Assistant Director (Unani) Dr. Nahid Parveen, Assistant Director Mr. K.K. Sapra and Official Language Section Incharge & Research Officer (Botany), Dr. Mokhtar Alam along with CCRUM officials and others participated in the programme. Research Officer (Publications) Mohd Niaz Ahmed conducted the concluding ceremony of Hindi Pakhwada 2022.
