HEADQUARTERS CENTRAL AIR COMMAND CELEBRATES
90TH ANNIVERSARY OF INDIAN AIR FORCE ON 08 OCT 2022
Prayagraj . 90th Anniversary of Indian Air Force was celebrated at Headquarters Central Air Command, Bamrauli on 08 October 2022 with full fervor and josh.
In commemoration of the auspicious day, Air Marshal AP Singh Ati Vishisht Seva Medal, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Central Air Command laid the wreath at CAC War Memorial and paid tribute to the brave hearts who laid down their lives in the service of the nation.
On this occasion, messages received from Hon’ble President of India, Vice-President, Prime Minister, Raksha Mantri, Raksha Rajya Mantri and Chief of the Air Staff were read out.
Later, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Central Air Command administered the oath of allegiance to all Air Force personnel as well as civilians. In his message, the Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief conveyed warm greetings and good wishes to all retired personnel, Air Warriors, NCs (E), DSCs, Civilians and their families. He emphasized on aero space safety, physical security and discipline as important factors for IAF’s operational preparedness. He directed all personnel to continue their vigil and enhance the level of readiness to meet new challenges emanating from the ever changing geo-political situations.
