New Delhi. The Central Council for Research in Unani Medicine (CCRUM), Ministry of Ayush, Government of India is observing Vigilance Awareness Week during October 31-November 06, 2022 to promote integrity at workplace.
The week commenced with integrity pledge administered by Prof. Asim Ali Khan, Director General, CCRUM. All the officials and staff of the CCRUM headquarters pledged to follow probity and rule of law in all walks of life. They further pledged to perform all tasks in an honest and transparent manner, act in public interest and lead by example exhibiting integrity in personal behavior. They declared that they would neither take nor offer bribe and report any incident of corruption to the appropriate agency.
Prof. Asim Ali Khan administered another pledge to preserve the unity, integrity and security of the nation to mark Ekta Diwas.
As part of the Vigilance Awareness Week, the CCRUM is conducting workshops/sensitization programmes and various competitions such as debates, quiz and essay writing on the theme of this year’s Vigilance Awareness Week ‘Corruption free India for a developed nation’.
