Prayagraj,To commemorate the 74th Republic Day, Headquarter Central Air Command conducted a Mini Marathon of 21 Km on 22 Jan 23. This was also accompanied with a long-distance run covering 5 & 10 Km. The Mini Marathon was flagged off by Air Marshal AP Singh AVSM, AOC-in-C, Central Air Command. All Air Warriors, DSC personnel and Civilians including their family members participated in the event with patriotic fervour and enthusiasm.
The mass participation of the Air Force fraternity in the event reaffirmed the inherent strength and resilience of IAF to withstand all security threats to our country. The event also emphasised the virtues of healthy body and active lifestyle in our daily routine.
During the culmination ceremony of the event, Air Marshal AP Singh AVSM,
AOC-in-C addressed the participants and motivated everyone to prioritise sports and fitness in their day-to-day life.
