Training period is priceless -Haji Muhammad Iqbal

Agra. Khatib and Imam-e-Juma Haji Muhammad Iqbal of Nahar Wali Masjid said in Khutba-e-Juma that In today’s Friday sermon, we will talk about children, because they are the ‘Tomorrow’, that’s why it is a very important issue, but we are very careless about it and the result of this is that we keep getting the news that one has left the ‘Deen’ and did all the work of his own free will, now let’s find a solution for it, the time that was meant for training was spent carelessly, now you are bowing your head and regretting it, yes! This is what is happening, understand the first two hadiths carefully, Abu Dawood No. 494 “The Prophet of Allah said: When the children are seven years old, order them to offer Namaz, and when they are ten years old, punish them for skipping Namaz. Second Hadith Sunan Ibn Majah Number 3671 “Treat your children well, and teach them good manners.” Let us talk about Namaz first, how many of us can say with responsibility that we made our children stand with us in Namaz from the age of seven and punished them when they were ten. If they were given training of Namaz at that part of their age which is prescribed by Islam, then swear by Lord of the Kaaba that child would never leave Namaz when he grows up. He cannot sleep at night if he does not pray Isha. During the training, you kept sleeping and said that he should become a namaazi, such a child will become a ‘Ramadan Namazi’ and he will also offer Juma as a ‘burden’. Who will be responsible for this? If you want to give the best gift to your children, then keep them away from pampering. Tell them the things to lead a successful life, make their habit such that they avoid complaining about others, find their own fault in every case and make a habit of correcting themselves. Explain to them that if you have done any mistake, then you will have to pay the punishment or the price for the same, do not waste your time complaining about others, always keep your thinking positive, avoid bad habits, always make them realize their responsibility, tell them the principles of success in this world and the Hereafter, make their habit such that they do not become a burden on their home and society, but become an asset for home and society, if other people praise you to your parents, then this is the success. So the fact is that we ourselves are fully responsible for whatever is happening. Today there is a need to take account of yourself. You are requested to consider all those things seriously before going to sleep at night. May Allah grant us all the ability to do good deeds. Aameen.
