Haji Sahab, Listen!

Agra. Haji Muhammad Iqbal, Khatib and Imam Juma of Nahar Wali Masjid located in Sikandra, said in the Khutbe-e-Juma that In today’s Friday Seremon, some important things have to be said about Hajj and Haji Sahab. All of you are requested to listen very carefully and pass it on to others as well. First about the Hajj― “The journey of Hajj is a journey towards Allah, this journey is the last form of being closest to your Lord. Other worships are in remembrance of Allah and Hajj itself is a way to reach Allah. This is the rehearsal of a servant for meeting to Allah. That is why he is called the guest of Allah. This year’s Hajj Alhamdulillah has been completed safely and now the guests of Allah, whom we call as ‘Haji’, have started returning to their respective homes. After some time, all the women and men will be in their homes in-sha-Allah, and now they will be called by the name of ‘Hajji and Hajjan’ and they are happy too. Haji and Hajjan are requested that why they do not call the Prophet of Allah, Sahaba, Sahabiyat by the name of Haji or Hajjan? All of them have performed Hajj with the Prophet of Allah. Zuhr and Asr prayers are offered together with the Prophet in Arafat. Stayed in Mina, means all rituals have been performed with the Prophet of Allah. No one calls Allah’s Prophet or Companions ‘Hajji’, then why do we call ourselves or others Haji? If you perform Hajj once in your life, you are called ‘Hajji’ and the poor person who is appearing before Allah five times a day, why should he not be called ‘Namazi’ ? That’s why all of you are requested to save yourself from this thing and just thank Allah that He has invited you to His home and made you His guest. No matter how much we thank, it is less, we should not call ourselves or others by the name of Haji. I request all friends to save themselves from this innovation and those people who write me ‘Alhaj’ or ‘Haji’ or those who call me by these names, for the sake of Allah, refrain from it. May Allah bless you all with the best reward. Aameen. I pray to Allah that may Allah grant us all the ability to do good deeds. Aameen.
