Agra | Muhammad Iqbal, Imam of Masjid Nehar Wali Sikandra, in the Sermon before the Friday Namaz, focused on the fact that the life of this world is only a few minutes in the eyes of Allah. He said, Allah has clearly stated this in the Quran– “Remind them of the day when Allah will gather them before Him, then they will feel as if they had been in this world for one or a half hours of the whole day.” (Surah Yunus Ayat number : 45). So in the eyes of Allah, this is the real situation of this world, in which we are living our lives by making such big plans. Therefore, do not waste time, focus on the work for which humans have been sent into the world. Humans have come into this world to live their life as per the will of his Lord. Iqbal Sahab further said that according to this world, man has got a lifespan of ‘a few years’ and doing anything against the will of Allah during this period is to ruin oneself forever. The right use of life is that which is useful after death. After death, only he will be considered successful who has spent his life before death as per the will of his Lord. Only he will get a ‘Certificate’ of success. He further said, therefore it is important that in the short time of this world we do not waste our time by doing any unnecessary work. It is our duty to read this living book of Allah in the light of the Quran and live our lives according to it. The consequences after death will be very ‘dangerous’ for the one who does not do so. Wise is the one who obeys Lord here, only then Lord will agree with him there, in-sha-Allah. May Allah grant us all the certificate of success. Aameen.
