Haji Syed Salman Chishty represents Ajmer Dargah Sharif at historic Interfaith Program ‘Sarv Dharm Samvad’ in New Delhi

New Delhi,– In a profound display of spiritual unity, Haji Syed Salman Chishty, Gaddi Nashin of Ajmer Dargah Sharif and Chairman of the Chishty Foundation, participated in the ‘Sarv Dharm Samvad’ interfaith program, organized jointly by the National Commission for Minorities and Bhartiya Sarv Dharma Sansad at the CGO Complex.
Renowned interfaith leaders gathered to share their insights on how the newly elected government can collaborate with spiritual leaders to establish peace and harmony in the country. Minister of State for Minority Affairs Shri George Kurian, Minorities Commissioner Shri Iqbal Singh Lalpura, and National Convenor of Bhartiya Sarv Dharma Sansad Goswami Sushil Ji Maharaj, Shri Vivek Muni ji, Father MD Thomas, Dr AK Merchant, Didi Binny Sareen, members of NCM, were among the key dignitaries who graced the occasion.
Reflecting on the spiritual essence of the event, Haji Syed Salman Chishty remarked, “In the divine words of Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Chishty, ‘Love towards all, malice towards none.’ This gathering is a testament to our shared commitment to fostering an atmosphere of mutual respect and understanding. It is through such divine convergence that we can pave the way for a harmonious and peaceful India.”
In his address, stressed upon taking up Skilled Development initiatives for Imams and faith teachers across millions of Madrasas and religious schools. Also shared details about Community Outreach Programs Initiative, Educational and Awareness Campaigns, Enhanced Grievance Redressal Mechanisms, Economic Empowerment and Skill Development, Healthcare and Social Welfare Initiatives, Promoting Interfaith Harmony, Youth Engagement and Empowerment, Research and Policy Advocacy.
The event underscored initiatives to outreach to minority communities, aiming to promote communal harmony, alleviate insecurities, combat inequality and discrimination, and understand the communities’ expectations from the government.
The leaders collectively congratulated the new government and its Cabinet Ministry under the leadership of the Hon’ble Prime Minister, expressing their dedication to working together to create a new history of interfaith cooperation in the country. They emphasized that true peace and harmony are achievable through collective spiritual wisdom and unity.
