Important Resolutions Passed, Organizational Reshuffle Announced
New Delhi,: The two-day executive meeting of the Muslim National Manch (MRM) concluded at Tagore Bhawan, Rajghat, New Delhi, under the chairmanship of Chief Patron Dr. Indresh Kumar. The meeting saw the passing of several significant resolutions, including efforts to reclaim Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (POJK), campaigns for communal unity, “No Cow Lynching & No Man Lynching” and organizational changes.
Resolution to Reclaim POJK:
The MRM strongly condemned terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir and emphasized the need to reintegrate POJK into India. A Tiranga Yatra will be conducted from August 15 to August 25, and Raksha Bandhan will be celebrated in honor of POJK victims. The MRM recalled the unanimous resolution passed by the Indian Parliament on February 22, 1994, affirming Jammu and Kashmir as an integral part of India and demanding that Pakistan vacate the occupied regions.
Other Resolutions Passed:
The MRM condemned the 1966 police firing on a procession in Washim, Maharashtra, which demanded a nationwide ban on cow slaughter. A public awareness campaign against cow slaughter and lynching, as well as a strict campaign against conversion, will be launched as “No Cow Lynching and No Man Lynching”. The MRM will organize a “Run for Unity” and student conferences from October 15 (former President APJ Kalam’s birthday) to November 11 (first Education Minister Maulana Abul Kalam Azad’s birthday). Programs aimed at connecting people with their roots, such as “Aao Jadon Se Jude,” will also be held nationwide.
Organizational Reshuffle:
The meeting saw the appointment of two new National Conveners, expanding the national convener board to 15 members. National Executive Member and National Media In-charge Shahid Sayeed and Women’s Head Dr. Shalini Ali were appointed as National Conveners, while Tasneem Patel replaced Dr. Shalini as the Women’s Head. Although, Shahid and Shalini will continue to perform previous responsibilities too. Four new members joined the Media and Literature team: Shalini Ali, Haji Mohammad Sabreen, Keshav Patel, and Mohammad Faiz Khan. Additionally, some cell in-charges and co-in-charges were reassigned. Khurshid Razaka now serves as the regional convener for Delhi and Haryana, with Imran Chaudhary and Mazhir Khan taking over the student cell. Changes were also made in the Seva Cell, Cow Cell, Environment Cell, and Aao Jadoon Se Jude Cell.

The two-day National Executive meeting was attended by around 55 workers, including Dr. Indresh Kumar, Mohammad Afzal, Professor Shahid Akhtar, Abu Bakar Naqvi, SK Muddin, Syed Raza Hussain Rizvi, Girish Juyal, Varg Pachpor, Tahir Hussain, Islam Abbas, Majahir Khan, Reshma Hussain, Dr. Shalini Ali, Mohammad Ilyas, Shahid Sayeed, Tahir Shah, Kallu Ansari, Shahnaz Afzal, Khurshid Razaka, Hafiz Mohammad Sabreen, Imran Chaudhary, Faiz Khan, Thakur Raja Rais, Dadu Khan, Keshav Patel, Sher Khan, Altamash Bihari, Azeemul Huq, and Mohammad Azharuddin.
