Chishty Foundation Punjab Chapter host Interfaith Summit “Harmony of Hearts (Sina Ba Sina)” Spiritual Pathways celebrating Unity in Diversity.

Chandigarh, The Chishty Foundation Punjab Chapter successfully hosted an impressive “Harmony of Hearts (Sina Ba Sina)” event at the Wyndham The Mohali Club in Chandigarh, Spiritual pathways celebrating Unity in Diversity through interfaith dialogues. The gathering brought together a distinguished panel of keynote speakers and guests from Chandigarh and Mohali, fostering a spirit of mutual respect and understanding among diverse religious communities.

The Chief Guest for the event was ShriSatnam Singh Sandhu, Founder Chancellor of Chandigarh University and Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha.

Haji Syed Salman Chishty, in his spiritual statement, shared, “The sacred path of Sufism is one of love and compassion. It teaches us to see beyond our differences and recognize the divine light in every soul. In a world often divided by superficial distinctions, events like ‘Harmony of Hearts’ remind us of the unity that lies at the core of all spiritual traditions.”

Shri Goswami Sushil Ji Maharaj emphasized the importance of embracing diversity, stating, “True spirituality lies in the recognition of the divine presence in all beings. By fostering a culture of inclusiveness and mutual respect, we can build a society rooted in peace and harmony.”

Karma Yeshe Rabgye (Lama Ji) added, “Compassion and inner peace are the foundations of a harmonious society. Through the teachings of Buddhism, we learn that by cultivating these qualities within ourselves, we can contribute to the greater good of humanity.”

Shri Gurbhej Singh Guraya of the Namdhari Sant Samaj expressed, “Our commitment to universal brotherhood is the guiding principle that drives us to engage in dialogues like these. It is through understanding and cooperation that we can achieve lasting peace.”

Anil Sarawal, representing the Bahá’í Faith, noted, “The vision of a world united by peace and justice is not just a dream; it is a reality we can create together through our shared spiritual values and collective efforts.”

Rama Didi from the Brahma Kumaris Center reflected, “Spiritual consciousness is the key to fostering harmony in our world. By elevating our thoughts and actions, we can create a more peaceful and compassionate society.”

Shri Satnam Singh Sandhu, the Chief Guest, praised the Chishty Foundation’s initiative, saying, “Events like ‘Harmony of Hearts’ are vital in today’s world. Understanding and cooperation among different faiths are essential for societal progress. The teachings of spiritual unity and respect for diversity are the pillars upon which we must build our future.”

Following the profound talks, a lively question-and-answer session with the audience, particularly the youth, delved deeper into themes of spiritual unity, interfaith understanding, and the pivotal role of young people in fostering peace.

The memorable event was presented by Designistic Group, Dr Vishal Kalra, who also heads the Punjab Chapter of Chishty Foundation and felicitation ceremony was conducted by Shri Abhishek Tiwari.

The event concluded with a Mehfil-e-Sama, featuring Chishty Sufi Qawwali renditions by the Aftab Qadri Gharana SufiWadi Ensemble, whose soulful music echoed the evening’s theme of unity through spiritual expression. The program closed with prayers and Dua’s led by Haji Syed Salman Chishty.

“Harmony of Hearts” is part of a series of monthly events planned by the Chishty Foundation across India. The next event is scheduled for September in Pune, organized by the Chishty Foundation Maharashtra Chapter.
