New Delhi: Indian Youth Congress celebrated Prime Minister Modi’s birthday as National Unemployed Day across the country, on this occasion, Youth Congress workers organized a symbolic protest at the National Office of Youth Congress in Delhi. On this occasion, the National President of Indian Youth Congress, Shri Srinivas BV ji said that since the Modi government came to power, it has brought the gift of unemployment to the youth of the country. That is why today the unemployed youth of the country are considering his birthday as National Unemployed Day.
Shri Srinivas BV ji, National President of Indian Youth Congress also said that India is one of the youngest countries in the world, there is a large number of youth population inside the country, and out of that 60% youth are roaming unemployed, 42% of youth are unemployed in the age group of 20 to 24 years, this is a very frightening situation, today there is highest unemployment in the last 45 years across the country, but Modi government is working for only and only Hum Do, Humare Do. They are not seeing the problems of the unemployed youth of the country.
The National President of Indian Youth Congress, Shri Srinivas BV ji also said that under the Modi government, the country is facing economic slowdown today and the unemployment rate in the country is 8.3%, these are signs of dangerous situation for a young nation like us. Today the youth of the country is disappointed, Modi ji had promised to provide 2 crore jobs every year to the youth of the country, according to that, 16 crore youth should have got employment in the country today, but the reality is 16 crore youth did not get employment, but applications of 22 crore people definitely came and out of that only 7 lakh people got employment, so today the youth of the country is compelled to celebrate National Unemployed Day. He also said that Modi ji is not worried about the employment of the youth of the country, but he is definitely concerned about the employment of Amit Shah’s son Jay Shah, today we appeal to Prime Minister Modi to pay some attention to the unemployed youth of the country and take some concrete steps for their employment as soon as possible.
