In his provocative remark, Narasimhanand said, “If effigies are to be burnt every Dussehra, burn effigies of Mohammed,” targeting religious sentiments. This statement not only deeply hurts the Muslim community but also poses a severe threat to India’s communal harmony.
MRM’s Response:
The Muslim Rashtriya Manch (MRM) has strongly condemned Narasimhanand’s statement, terming it as a deliberate attempt to incite division and hatred within society. MRM has announced that FIRs will be filed nationwide against him, launching a national campaign to legally stop such hate-mongering individuals.

In an online meeting attended by 100 activists, including national conveners, cell coordinators, and regional leaders, prominent figures like Mohammad Afzal, Virag Pachpore, Dr. Shahid Akhtar, Syed Raza Hussain Rizvi, Abu Bakar Naqvi, Girish Juyal, S.K. Strict Action Announced:
After the meeting, MRM’s National Convener and Media Incharge Shahid Sayeed, announced this decisive step. “Our activists will file FIRs against Yati Narasimhanand across the country. This hate speech is not just against Muslims but against the entire nation,” he stated, referring to the statement as “religious provocation.” MRM is determined to fight both legally and socially against such attacks on the nation’s constitutional framework.
No Action on Previous FIRs:
Several FIRs have already been filed against Narasimhanand for his inflammatory speeches, but no concrete action has been taken by the authorities so far. Expressing frustration, National Convener Mohammad Afzal said, “The lack of action on previous FIRs against Narasimhanand shows the administration’s failure. It weakens not only the Muslim community but also the nation’s law and order.” He warned that further instability could arise if prompt action is not taken against such hate speech.

National Convener Dr. Shahid Akhtar sharply criticized the statement, stating, “Such derogatory remarks offend not just Muslims but also the shared culture of Indian society. Hate-mongers must be severely punished so that no one dares to make such statements in the future.” He added, “No individual has the right to poison society in the name of religion.
