Ajmer Sharif,In a heartwarming gesture of spiritual unity, Haji Syed Salman Chishty, Gaddi Nashin of Dargah Ajmer Sharif and Chairman of the Chishty Foundation, warmly welcomed a distinguished 25-member delegation from the European Union nations, marking their first-ever visit to India. The group included citizens from France, Norway, Sweden, Germany, Poland, Switzerland, and several other European states, embarking on a journey of spiritual enlightenment and intercultural understanding.
The delegation visited the Divine Sufi Dargah Ajmer Sharif, the resting place of Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Chishty (r), renowned worldwide for his message of unconditional love and service to humanity. In his address, Haji Syed Salman Chishty emphasized the timeless values of the Chishty Sufi Order, reflecting the core spiritual teachings of the Dargah Sharif: love for all, hatred towards none, and the profound importance of prayers, meditation, and service as a way of life.
Haji Syed Salman Chishty shared the essence of Sufi teachings with the delegation, highlighting the practice of Zikr (remembrance of the Divine) and Fikr (deep meditation), which form the foundation of Sufi spiritual exercises. These practices foster a deeper connection with the Divine, cultivating compassion, selflessness, and a sense of responsibility toward the welfare of others.

The delegation experienced the sacred atmosphere of Ajmer Sharif, a place that has, for centuries, attracted spiritual seekers from all corners of the world. The visit included special prayers and a guided Ziyarat (pilgrimage), where Haji Syed Salman Chishty offered prayers for global peace and understanding, invoking blessings for the delegation and their countries.
In his message, Haji Syed Salman Chishty reminded the visitors that the Dargah Ajmer Sharif is a symbol of universal love and compassion, transcending boundaries and uniting people through shared spiritual values. He expressed his deep gratitude for their visit, believing that such exchanges are key to fostering mutual respect, harmony, and a collective commitment to peace across the globe.
This visit served as a beautiful testament to the power of spiritual dialogue in bridging cultures and building a future grounded in love, empathy, and cooperation. The delegation departed with a deeper understanding of Sufi principles and the rich spiritual heritage of Ajmer Sharif, carrying forward the message of Love for all, Hatred towards none into their communities and lives.
