New Delhi. On the auspicious occasion of Dhanteras, the Muslim Rashtriya Manch organized a grand event at the historic Hazrat Nizamuddin Auliya Dargah in Delhi, where people from various religions and communities gathered. The main objective of this event was to promote communal harmony, unity, brotherhood, coexistence, and integrity. As every year, this ceremony emerged as a symbol of unity.
On this occasion, the platform’s guide, Indresh Kumar, in his address, stated that Kashmir is referred to as the paradise on earth, and while preserving it, we must also ensure that the entire country remains a paradise for the world. Highlighting India’s uniqueness, he said, “This is a country that is sending a message of non-violence and brotherhood to the entire world. Our diversity is our strength, and it is this that makes us an example of unity and integrity before the world.”
Indresh Kumar recalled the last Prophet of Islam, emphasizing that there is no religion greater than humanity. He expressed concern over the distortions prevalent in society and appealed to everyone to unite and strive for positive changes in society.
He paid special attention to women’s empowerment and prayed that no sister, daughter-in-law, or daughter in the Muslim community becomes a victim of triple talaq or other unjust traditions. He stressed the need to protect the rights of Muslim women and provide equal opportunities so that they can also establish their identity in society.
Indresh Kumar emphasized the need to eliminate caste, untouchability, and all forms of discrimination. He stated, “The progress of any society is only possible when all people have equal rights and opportunities.”
He also expressed concern about the growing pollution in the Delhi and NCR regions. He appealed to everyone to burn firecrackers in a restrained manner, stating that this is the festive season, and we should celebrate it responsibly towards our environment and society.
The need for reform in the Waqf Board was also highlighted prominently. He alleged that corruption is rampant there, and many Waqf properties are being illegally occupied. Indresh Kumar urged the Muslim community to unite to protect and develop their properties.
The atmosphere of the event was filled with peace and harmony, where people from various religions and communities joined together in prayer and supplication. On this occasion, messages of brotherhood, coexistence, and mutual cooperation echoed among people of different faiths.
