Allah Ta’ala has the best plan for you; trust in Him : Muhammad Iqbal

Agra | The preacher of Masjid Neharwali, Mohammad Iqbal, addressed the worshippers in the Friday Sermon about Prophet Yusuf. He said that the entire story of Prophet Yusuf is presented together in Surah Yusuf. It is mentioned that Yusuf was kept in prison for over seven years. You can see that throughout the entire story, Yusuf never complained to Allah, saying, “You put me in prison,” or “The wife of the chief accused me,” etc. Even in prison, Yusuf remained calm, preaching to the prisoners there. In other words, he never made any complaints to Allah. When the prison term ended, Allah made him a powerful ruler of that same Egypt. Surah Yusuf, Ayat no. 54, 55, and 56, describe this : “The king spoke to him and said, ‘From today, you are a trusted, close companion of ours.’ Yusuf replied, ‘Appoint me in charge of the treasures of the land, as I am a responsible and knowledgeable protector.’ In this way, We established Yusuf in the land. He could go wherever he wished. We grant our mercy to whom We will and do not waste the reward of those who do good.” Now, let us examine ourselves and see how often we complain about our troubles. If Allah can change the conditions of Yusuf, why can’t He change ours? We only need to exercise ‘patience’ according to our circumstances. Allah, the Most Exalted, has a wonderful plan for us. Just trust in it. May Allah grant us the ability to do so.
