Agra. The first one-day camp was organized by the NSS units of Baikunthi Devi Kanya Mahavidyalaya. The theme of this camp was national integration. The camp was inaugurated with the garlanding of Saraswati. The volunteers welcomed the guests with a welcome song. The Principal of the college, Prof. Poonam Singh, encouraged the volunteers. Special speaker Prof. Nasreen Begum, while explaining the importance of national integration, told about the great personalities who contributed to the freedom movement like Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, Jawaharlal Nehru, Bhagat Singh, APJ Abdul Kalam, Indira Gandhi, etc. Special guest Prof. Poonam Rani Gupta talked about family unity to national unity. Prof. Gunjan Chaturvedi told the goal of NSS. The volunteers staged the play Unity in Diversity under the direction of Program Officer Neha. The program was conducted by NSS volunteers Aishwarya and Komal. The vote of thanks was given by NSS Program Officer Mrs. Shalini. More than 100 volunteers like Aastha, Kavita, Arabshan, Shalini etc. participated in the camp.
