Stop living in illusions and misunderstandings; become a realist : Muhammad Iqbal

Agra | The Preacher of Masjid Neharwali, Muhammad Iqbal, in today’s Friday sermon, advised people to live with realism instead of living in illusions. Today, we share the achievements of our ancestors with others and express happiness. However, the need is to focus on our current position. Let’s talk about today, and the reality of today is very bitter. We are merely living a life of show-off. We are spending our wealth lavishly on weddings, but we are not even thinking about any positive initiatives. If we just reflect on one thing: we proudly narrate our elders’ achievements to others today, but what achievements will our generation narrate about us ? We need to reflect on this. In fact, this one thought is enough to bring a change within us. However, since we have become desensitized, such words have no impact on us.
Our youth is headed in the wrong direction, yet we are living in an illusion. Our daughters are abandoning their faith, and we are standing as silent spectators, witnessing everything with our own eyes. Despite this, we have no feelings or sense of responsibility awakening within us. The reason is that even after knowing the reality, we pretend to be unaware. We need to abandon illusions and misconceptions and embrace realism. Otherwise, our story won’t even be mentioned in the stories of tomorrow. O Servants of Allah ! We have the greatest example in the Treaty of Hudaybiyah. At that time, it seemed one-sided, but the result proved its value to the world. Today, we must adopt a similar one-sided policy and silently work towards our goals. Only through this will we attain success in this world and the hereafter. Otherwise, our ruin is evident, although we fail to see it due to our illusions. Understand the reality and change your path. This is a sign of wisdom. Make this decision today, for too much time has already been lost. May Allah grant us the ability to do so. Aameen.
