The Muslim Community Must Take Historical Responsibility on Kashi, Mathura and Sambhal

Lucknow, :A historic meeting of the Muslim Rashtriya Manch (MRM) Uttar Pradesh was held at Gandhi Smriti Hall, Kaiserbagh. The event took a significant step toward communal harmony and interfaith dialogue, calling for resolutions to disputes over religious sites. Senior RSS leader and MRM guide Indresh Kumar made a major announcement at the event. He urged Indian Muslims to take the lead in national interest. Speaking on the issues surrounding Kashi, Mathura, and Sambhal, Indresh Kumar emphasized the need for the Muslim community to take proactive steps and make bold decisions based on the teachings of the Quran and Hadith.

Strong Message in the Keynote Address:

In his keynote address, Dr. Indresh Kumar delivered a clear message: it is time for the Muslim community to take responsibility and resolve disputes over sites like Kashi, Mathura, and Sambhal through dialogue. He asserted that Islam does not permit forcible occupation. Highlighting that occupation and violence in the name of religion are against Islamic principles, he appealed to the Muslim community to hand over these sites to the Hindu society, paving the way for India to become a global example of communal harmony. He further urged Muslims to distance themselves from parties and organizations that treat them as mere vote banks and incite division and conflict.

Dialogue and Resolution: A Historical Responsibility:

Dr. Kumar called on the Muslim community to initiate introspection and dialogue to resolve religious disputes. Citing the Quran and Hadith, he explained that mosques built on forcibly occupied land are illegitimate. He reiterated that Islam is a religion of peace and justice, advocating that disputes should be resolved through consensus and agreement.

Strong Support for the Waqf Amendment Bill 2024:

The meeting also discussed the misuse of Waqf properties and their proper utilization. Dr. Kumar expressed strong support for the Waqf Amendment Bill, emphasizing that the law is aimed at the welfare and transparency of the Muslim community. He stated that Waqf properties should be used for social service, education, and healthcare.

The meeting was attended by over 700 participants, including national conveners Mohammad Afzal, Syed Raza Hussain Rizvi, Dr. Shalini Ali, Islam Abbas, Thakur Raja Raees, Dr. Tahir Shah, Tusharkant, Alok Chaturvedi, Dr. Ali Zafar, Farid Sabri, Dr. Anil Singh, Dr. Rizwana, Komal Neha, Rukhsana Naqvi, Gausia Khanam, Sher Khan, Kausar Jahan, Dr. Tauqir Khan, and Firoz Abbasi. The session was conducted by Raja Hussain Rizvi, who highlighted several significant issues relevant to the Muslim community. Intellectuals, educators, muftis, and religious scholars also shared their thoughts and suggestions for enhancing communal harmony.

Dr. Kumar made it clear that the Muslim community must take the lead in maintaining India’s unity and integrity. He stated that the Muslim Rashtriya Manch aims to make India a global symbol of communal harmony, progress, and peace. This can only be achieved by learning from past mistakes and moving forward on the path of resolution.

This meeting delivered a powerful message: it is now the responsibility of the Muslim community to resolve disputes and help India become a global model of communal harmony.
