Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh – On the auspicious occasion of the birth of Maulood-e-Kaaba, Ameerul Momineen Ali (AS), a special celebration was organized at Khanqah-e-Niaziya in Sir Syed Nagar, Aligarh district, under the auspices of the Al-Niyaz Education and Welfare Society.
The program began after Asr prayers with a Milad ceremony, where various individuals, including Haider Ali Niazi, Hafiz Furqan Niazi, Safdar Niazi, Jafar Niazi, Haider Abbas Niazi, Rohan Niazi, and others, presented Manqabati Kalam and Salams in honor of Ameerul Momineen Ali (AS). Following Maghrib prayers, the remembrance of Maulood-e-Kaaba was held, and at the conclusion of the program, Tabarrukaat (blessed food) were distributed to all attendees.
Address by Dr. Muhammad Abbas Niazi, Head of Al-Niyaz Education and Welfare Society
Dr. Muhammad Abbas Niazi, the head of the Al-Niyaz Education and Welfare Society and Peer-e-Tareeqat, addressed the gathering with deep reverence for Ameerul Momineen Ali (AS). He spoke about the unique qualities of Hazrat Ali (AS), describing him as the embodiment of opposites, someone who excelled both in worship and in battle. Dr. Niazi emphasized that Hazrat Ali (AS) was not only a warrior of great valor, but also a scholar whose eloquence and wisdom in speech continue to inspire people to this day.
Dr. Niazi referred to numerous sayings of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) highlighting the special relationship between the Prophet and Hazrat Ali (AS). He recalled how the Prophet (PBUH) often expressed that Ali (AS) was the gate to knowledge, the best judge, and the one closest to him, spiritually and in terms of blood relationship. He also mentioned the famous event of Ghadir Khum, where the Prophet (PBUH) declared Hazrat Ali (AS) as the master and guardian of all Muslims, just as the Prophet (PBUH) was.
The Virtues of Hazrat Ali (AS)
Dr. Niazi further elaborated on the unparalleled virtues of Hazrat Ali (AS), noting that no other figure in Islamic history holds such honors. He spoke about how Ali (AS) was raised by the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) from a young age, and how their bond was stronger than any other companion. Dr. Niazi quoted Hazrat Ali (AS), who compared his relationship with the Prophet to that of a camel with its calf, emphasizing their closeness and nurturing relationship.
He also highlighted how Hazrat Ali (AS) was the only companion whose door was left open by the Prophet (PBUH), while the doors of other companions were closed. The Quran attests to Hazrat Ali’s (AS) purity and infallibility, and it is through his actions that his status as a protector of Islam is evident. Dr. Niazi condemned those who attack Hazrat Ali (AS) and spread fabricated stories about him, warning that they would face consequences from Allah for their actions.
The Courage and Bravery of Hazrat Ali (AS)
Dr. Niazi reflected on the bravery of Hazrat Ali (AS) in various battles, including the Battle of Badr, where he played a decisive role in killing the leaders of the polytheists, and the Battle of Khaibar, where he conquered the famous Jewish fortress. He also mentioned the Battle of the Trench, where Hazrat Ali (AS) defeated the renowned wrestler Amr Ibn Abdud.Despite his immense strength and valor, Dr. Niazi noted Hazrat Ali’s (AS) humility and piety. He lived a simple life, often eating dry bread dipped in water, demonstrating his devotion to Allah. His marriage to Sayyida Fatimah (AS), the daughter of the Prophet (PBUH), was also a sign of his greatness. According to divine will, this marriage was a unique and blessed union.
The Martyrdom of Hazrat Ali (AS)
Dr. Niazi poignantly recounted the martyrdom of Hazrat Ali (AS) on the 19th of Ramadan, 40 AH. Hazrat Ali (AS) was struck by a poisoned sword while offering the Fajr prayers in the mosque of Kufa, and after two days of intense suffering, he attained martyrdom on the 21st of Ramadan. Despite his injury, Hazrat Ali (AS) uttered the words, “By the Lord of the Kaaba, Ali (AS) has succeeded.” His martyrdom marked the loss of one of the greatest figures in Islamic history.
The gathering was attended by numerous people, including Ali Zaman Niazi, Ali Hasnain Niazi, Ebad Niazi, Safdar Niazi, Fakhri Ali Niazi, Rohan Niazi, Sarwar Azim Niazi, Haider Ali Niazi, Jafar Ali Niazi, Rohan Niazi, Junaid Niazi, Karim Niazi, and many others.
