“The thread of imagination connects every subject, art is life, it has no end”

 

Agra, District Education and Training Institute Agra concluded the “Kalanjali – Art Festival and Exhibition”. On the occasion of Art, Culture Festival/Exhibition under Teacher Education and Program and Activities, under the guidance of NCERT Lucknow, DIET Agra presented artworks and music related presentations made by Assistant Teachers, ARPs and DIET lecturers of council schools. Deputy Education Director/Principal DIET Mrs. Pushpa Kumari distributed certificates to all the participants. In the exhibition, a total of 20 dance, singing and instrumental presentations were presented by the teachers and teachers of the Basic Department and 78 art and craft artworks were displayed. It will take interest and will prove helpful to the students in expressing their feelings.

Deputy Education Director/Principal Mrs. Pushpa Kumari said that art and music develop the thinking power, creativity and spirit of cooperation in children.

Nodal in-charge of Kalanjali Festival Dr. D.K. Gupta said that “Where words end, art speaks, every creation reveals the emotions of the heart.” The program was conducted by spokesperson Shri Dharmendra Prasad Gautam, District Nipun Incharge (Program Coordinator). Agra DIET is being developed under the ‘Center of Excellence’. On this occasion, it was told that art and music keep us stress free and also keep us connected to our culture and bring interest in teaching various subjects. “Art has an invaluable contribution in education, it improves the mind with knowledge.” On this occasion, program coordinator Pushpendra Singh, Yashpal Singh, Abu Mohammad Asif, Sanjeev Kumar Satyarthi, DIET spokesperson Shri Anil Kumar, Dr. Manoj Kumar Varshney, Yashveer Singh, Dr. Pragya Sharma, Ranjana Pandey, Rachna Yadav and Gaurav Bhargava, Amit Dixit, Prabal Singh, Akanksha Lavania, Tilak Jung etc. and all D.El.Ed. trainees of DIET were present.
