
Agra: GD Goenka Public School, Agra, celebrated Republic Day with great enthusiasm and pride. The Pro-Vice Chairman of the school, Mr. Sanjay Agarwal, unfurled the national flag and saluted the tricolor while the national anthem was sung.

On this occasion, the students presented various vibrant and patriotic performances that showcased their talent, culture, and dedication to the nation.
In his address, Mr. Sanjay Agarwal highlighted that on January 26, 1950, the Constitution of India came into force, and the country became a Republic. He said, “Today, we have numerous opportunities for progress. What we need is strong willpower and dedication to the nation. We must follow the mantra of ‘If we improve ourselves, the world will improve.’ Students should adopt small yet meaningful habits, such as maintaining cleanliness around them. This will not only contribute to their personal growth but also play a significant role in the nation’s development.”

The Principal, Mr. Puneet Vashishtha, motivated the students, saying, “The future of India lies in your hands. Take inspiration from our forefathers and work towards building a better and developed India. We can repay the sacrifices of our revolutionaries and freedom fighters only by creating an advanced and prosperous nation.” He urged the students to prioritize education and dedicate their lives to the service of the country.

The celebration successfully instilled a sense of patriotism and national pride among the students.

The event was graced by the presence of teachers, including Mr. Anupam Tiwari, Mr. Anoop Gupta, Mrs. Hina Wadhwa, and other staff members of GD Goenka Public School.
