Firozabad. For Hindu Muslim brotherhood and national unity across the country, Sufi Khanqah Association, the leading organization of Indian Sufis, is continuously running campaigns. Under the leadership of Sufi Khanqah Association National President Sufi Mohammad Kausar Hasan Majidi Advocate, programs are being organized continuously by the office bearers of Sufi Khanqah Association with Sufist ideology and tradition at the all India level. In this series, on the occasion of 553rd Urs at Dargah Hazrat Firoz Shah Rahmatullah Alaih, Sufi Khanqah Association organized a national level convention on the topic “Teaching of Husn Ikhlaq and Contribution of Sufis in Islam”. The speakers expressed their views in the light of the decree of Prophet of Islam Hazrat Mohammad Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam “The higher the Ikhlaq, the higher is his iman”. In the program chaired by Sajjada Nashin Yusuf Baba of Dargah Sharif Hazrat Firoz Shah, Sufi Khanqah Association National President Sufi Mohammad Kausar Hasan Majidi Expressing concern over the incidents of terrorism, he strongly opposed linking it with Islam and said that Islam never allows any such work which oppresses people. Referring to the Hadith of Hazrat Mohammad Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam that unites hearts, he said that the Islam which gives the good news of heaven without any account on uniting hearts, cannot talk about killing innocent people. He said that today an atmosphere of hatred is being created in the country, the atmosphere is being spoiled by misuse of social media, we have to answer all this with love and by presenting the right facts, for which we have to be educated and get modern education along with religious education. For this, he appealed to women to be empowered.Sufi Khanqah Association National Secretary and Sajjada Nashin of Dargah Mafi Qadam Rasul Agra Sheikh Mohammad Shafiq Baba Lal Shah Qadri Ashrafi said that the Sufis of India have taken the teachings of brotherhood forward, Hazrat Khawaja Gareeb Nawaz’s decree “Mohabbat Sabke Liye” is a clear proof of this, referring to Husn Ikhlaq, he said that after eating food, a hungry man asked Imam Zain ul Abidin that do you know me, then the Imam said yes you are the same person who threw stones at us when we were prisoners, then that man said then why did you feed us, then the Imam said that stoning a prisoner is your tradition, and feeding a hungry person is our culture. On this occasion, Sufi Khanqah Association Youth Wing Uttar Pradesh unit State President Sufi Salman Sheikh Qadri Shafiqui, while motivating the youth for higher education, said that without empowering the youth, we cannot progress rapidly. He encouraged the youth to acquire modern education along with religious education. Sajjada Nashin of Khanqah Nabi Hasni Agra and Sufi Khanqah Association State Vice President Sufi Ahmed Hasan said that love is the means which ends enmity forever. In this era of hatred, we need to follow the teachings of love of the Sufis. Sufi Khanqah Association National Executive Committee member Sufi Shakir Qadri Shafiqui appealed to the people to join the Sufi Khanqah Association to make the campaign of Sufi Khanqah Association for harmony in the country successful. While conducting the program, Sufi Khanqah Association Uttar Pradesh unit State Vice President Sufi Shamsuddin Pappan Miyan said that the shrines of our elders and the activities done on them are very important for the people. Events strengthen brotherhood. Dargah manager Guddu Bhai expressed his gratitude to the guests and audience.
