Agra to Become Greener with a Target of 5 Lakh Trees in a Year

  • A total of 16,300 Trees Planted So Far, Demonstrating the Success of Their Commitment

Agra. In a Green Initiative of “Shakti of Forest” by Kishore Shakti Foundation – India, in Agra, Shaktimat team visited their Tree Plantation Projects in Agra, where they have already planted around 16300 Plants currently and in future they are planning to plant around 500000 Trees every year majority of which will happen just before monsoon). They also visited the prospective next sites
Shaktimat Sweden founders Nadine & Om visited their Plantation today along with Kishore Shakti Foundation Directors Deepak Agarwal.
Team Shaktimat & Kishore Shakti Foundation told us that they are working very closely with local municipalities, Nagar nigam, forest department , Udhyan vibhag, schools, Residential colonies/parks, for this plantation drive.
They all believe in sustainability, giving back to society and nature.
Our city needs more drives like these, especially considering the rising pollution levels, decreasing groundwater levels, and for our Taj Mahal. Supreme Court has expressed their concerns frequently over this and passed regularly orders
