CELEBRATIONS AT TAJ MAHAL METRO STATION, PASSENGERS ENJOY A FUN FILLED AFTERNOON

It was a fun filled memorable evening for Agra Metro Rail Project as the day saw one year anniversary celebrations of Agra Metro at Taj Mahal Metro Station.

Last year, the priority corridor from Taj East Gate to Mankameshwar Metro Station became operational for passenger services on the 6 km long priority stretch and services were inaugurated by Hon’ble Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi in presence of Hon’ble CM of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath.

17 LAKH PROUD PASSENGERS!

Around 17 lakh proud passengers have shown their trust in Agra Metro and availed metro as a a means of transport for travelling in the city. The numbers keep increasing everyday and due to the seamless connectivity with monuments like the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Mankameshwar Temple, tourists and visitors continue to avail metro facility for hassle free transit!

PHOTO EXHIBITION- AGRA METRO FROM YOUR EYES

A special photo exhibition was organised for Agra Metro’s first anniversary in which Senior Photographer Shri Lalit Rajora contributed aesthetic photos on Agra Metro. Commuters were seen taking selfies with The photos and appreciating the display of photos.

HISTORICAL PLAY ON TIME TRAVEL BY ANIL JAIN AND GROUP

Shri Anil Jain and Group performed a hilarious play on the theme ‘Agra Metro: Pathway to Heritage’ exploring the possibilities that if historical personalities from past ages were to take Agra Metro, how would he react. The play captured the attention of the audience and left the audience in splits.

On this occasion senior dignitaries of Agra namely Shri Sushil Gupta, Director Prelude School, Shri Shyam Jarari , Shri Dharmendra Soni were present to exchange ideas on the occasion along with senior officials of UPMRC.

ROCK SHUTTER BAND ENTHRALLS AUDIENCE

The evening ended with an enthralling performance by rock shutter band headed by Shri Vikas Agarwal in which the band performers woved the audience with their melodious songs and performances.

After the ceremony, the dignitaries took a metro ride and praised the world class facilities offered by Agra Metro.
It was a memorable one year for Agra Metro and the day was marked with fun and frolic, and the proud passengers of Agra participated with great zeal in the celebrations.
