AEEDU Hosts Iftar Dinner at Nehru Guest House, Jamia Millia Islamia

New Delhi,The Alliance for Economic and Educational Development of the Underprivileged (AEEDU) hosted a Iftar Dinner at Nehru Guest House, Jamia Millia Islamia on Friday, March 21, 2025, bringing together over 150 distinguished guests. The event was attended by AEEDU founders Dr. S. Y. Quraishi, Mr. Shahid Siddiqui, and Mr. Saeed Shervani, and CEO Syed Mahmood Akhter along with Governing Body members including Ms. Riva Ganguly Das and Dr. Shabana Nazeer. Several notable figures, including Father Thomas, Dr. A. K. Merchant, Mr. Khalil Ahmad, Mr. Shadab Khan, Dr. Raihan Akhtar, Mr. Javed Yunus, Mrs. Mosin Wali, Padam Shri Dr. Mohammad Khalilullah, eminent cardiologist, and other dignitaries, also graced the occasion.
The Iftar Dinner commenced at 6:34 PM, marking the time to break the fast. Nehru Guest House was blissfully curated to reflect the spirit of Ramadan, creating a warm and hospitable atmosphere for the attendees. The evening began with the traditional breaking of the fast, followed by a well-organized dinner that facilitated meaningful interactions amongst guests.
The event was made possible with the generous support of Alam Hospital & Research Centre, Ranchi; Shervani Hotels; and Maulana Afzal Hussain, Gorakhpur, whose contributions ensured a seamless and successful gathering. AEEDU’s leadership took this opportunity to engage with stakeholders, fostering discussions on future initiatives and strengthening collaborations.
