Inauguration of the Two-Day FANS National Conference in Delhi
New Delhi। India, once a prosperous and thriving nation, is on course to regain its lost glory and emerge as the world’s most powerful and affluent country by 2047. This vision was articulated by Dr. Indresh Kumar, National executive member of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and chief patron of the Forum for Awareness of National Security (FANS) , at a significant event today. The two-day national conference, titled ‘Manthan 2025’, is being jointly organized by the Forum for Awareness of National Security, ICSSR, and the Centre for Himalayan Studies, University of Delhi.
Speaking at the inaugural session of the National Conference at Delhi University’s North Campus, Dr. Indresh Kumar emphasized that India’s resurgence depends not just on the government and organizations but on the collective efforts of every citizen. He envisioned a ‘Bharat Sangh’—a fearless, crime-free, corruption-free, riot-free, prosperous, and harmonious nation that spreads the message of love across the world.
Highlighting the significance of cultural values and national consciousness, he said, “India has always revered guests as gods, a sentiment unparalleled in other world philosophies. Our food is considered sacred, and ‘prasad’ (offering) is never wasted. If the world adopts this perspective, global hunger could be eradicated.” Dr. Kumar further emphasized that India’s educational system was historically the best, with prestigious institutions like Takshashila and Vikramshila attracting scholars from across the world, making India a true ‘Vishwaguru’ (world leader).
Role of Media and Social Awareness in Nation-Building
Senior journalist Jaideep Karnik, the special guest of the event, underscored the power of words in shaping society, warning that misguided narratives can lead to societal discord. He pointed out that social media is increasingly being used to undermine ideologies, which can pose a serious threat to national integrity.
“We are witnessing an ‘information war’ where misleading content is being weaponized against the nation. It is crucial for our youth to recognize this and stay informed. Conferences like ‘Manthan 2025’ will illuminate the right path and awaken national consciousness,” he added.

Call for Unity and National Strength
Former Vice-Chancellor Prof. Radhe Shyam Sharma stressed the need for collective efforts to foster social welfare and human compassion. RSJM President , General Saurish Bhattacharya urged the youth to take the lead in shaping a prosperous and empowered India.
Sardar Jasbir Singh, National Working President of FANS, highlighted India’s cultural heritage as its greatest strength, asserting that India’s traditions, philosophy, and knowledge systems give it a distinct global identity.
Addressing the conference, Vikramaditya Singh of the Forum for Awareness of National Security stated that experts would deliberate on pressing national and global issues, offering insights to shape a stronger and more secure India. He expressed confidence that the conference would play a crucial role in realizing the vision of a ‘Developed and Divine India.’
