At a grand Eid Milan ceremony organized by the Muslim Rashtriya Manch, leaders, intellectuals, social activists, and religious figures from across the country unanimously hailed the Waqf Amendment Law as a historic and transformative step for the Muslim community. On this occasion, Jagdambika Pal, Chairman of the Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) on the Waqf Amendment, Indresh Kumar, mentor of the Muslim Rashtriya Manch, and Ramlal, the RSS liaison head, elaborated on the necessity of this law and its wide-ranging social impact.

Jagdambika Pal: Waqf Amendment a Revolutionary Step
Addressing the large gathering with enthusiasm, JPC Chairman Jagdambika Pal said, “It feels as though the entire nation has gathered here to put its stamp of approval on the Waqf Amendment Bill.”
He described the Waqf Amendment as a revolutionary step for the Muslim community, stating that this law presents a golden opportunity to eliminate long-standing misconceptions, corruption, and injustice within society. Pal emphasized that the amendment would not only ensure transparent and accountable management of Waqf properties but also help secure the rights of the most vulnerable and deprived sections of society.
He highlighted that extensive nationwide consultations were held before drafting the bill, garnering support from all communities, social organizations, and secular forces. Terming it a positive and far-reaching step toward nation-building, Pal asserted that this law would further strengthen India’s unity and integrity.
Indresh Kumar: Ending Confusion, Ushering in a New Era of Awareness

In his address, Indresh Kumar, mentor of the Muslim Rashtriya Manch, expressed a firm commitment to rooting out misconceptions and rumors surrounding the Waqf Amendment. He announced that the Manch would organize over 100 press conferences and more than 500 seminars across the country to ensure that the objectives and benefits of this law reach every individual. Kumar stated, “This law will further strengthen the Muslim community’s self-respect, justice, and equality rights.”
Shedding light on the long-standing issues of misuse and mismanagement of Waqf properties, he said the amendment would ensure their transparent and equitable use, benefiting all sections of society. RSS liaison head Ramlal described the Waqf Amendment as a significant step toward enhancing trust and harmony within the Muslim community. Minority Ministry Procures 700 Books
The book “Respect to Islam and Gift for Muslim,” published by the Muslim Rashtriya Manch, received special appreciation. Regarded as an important document for social unity and awareness, the Union Ministry of Minority Affairs decided to distribute it to all Members of Parliament, reflecting its widespread acceptance and impact. Speakers noted that the book would play a vital role in understanding the true values of Islam and promoting harmony in society.
