Jammu, Senior BJP leader and Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha), Er. Ghulam Ali Khatana, actively participated in the ‘Gaon Chalo’ program held in the Dansal area of Jammu district. During his visit, Khatana took part in a series of activities aimed at engaging with the local populace and assessing development initiatives on the ground.
As part of the program, Khatana led a Swachhata Abhiyan at the Primary Health Centre (PHC) Dansal and paid a visit to the local veterinary dispensary. He also interacted with various beneficiaries of government schemes, ensuring their concerns and feedback were heard.
Er. Khatana visited the homes of prominent community leaders from the tribal and Scheduled Caste (SC) communities, reflecting his commitment to inclusive outreach. He also held a meeting at the residence of a local BJP booth president and participated in community rallies, walking shoulder-to-shoulder with the people.
During his interactions, residents voiced serious concerns regarding the poor condition of drinking water facilities in the region. They also demanded a thorough investigation into the newly constructed college building that reportedly developed cracks even before its official inauguration.
Responding to the grievances, Er. Ghulam Ali Khatana urged concerned officials and departments responsible for providing basic amenities to visit the area and take immediate corrective measures to address public issues.
