“Manthan”: Amogh Leela Prabhu Shares the Secrets of Meditation, Discipline, and Success at Dr. MPS World School, Agra

Agra – A grand and inspiring seminar titled “Manthan – The Art of Concentration in the Age of Distraction” was held on Tuesday at the Atulya Bharat Cultural Centre of Dr. MPS World School, located in Sikandra. The seminar featured renowned
motivational speaker, spiritual leader, and IIM Ahmedabad faculty member Amogh Leela Prabhu, who enlightened the youth on the secrets of success and life management.

Organized jointly by Dr. MPS Group of Institutions, Dr. MPS World School, and ISKCON Agra, the event began with the chanting of the Hare Krishna Mahamantra and a ceremonial lamp lighting. The inauguration was led by Squadron Leader A.K. Singh (Chairperson, Dr. MPS World School), AFMEC president Puran Dawar, AFWWA President Shweta Gupta, Principal Rakhi Jain, and ISKCON Agra President Arvind Prabhu.

A Blend of Art and Culture
The cultural segment of the program featured a mesmerizing performance of a Shri Krishna Dance Drama by the school students, moving the audience deeply. The guests were warmly welcomed by Dr. Vikrant Shastri (Director, Academics) and Dr. A.K. Goel (Director, Administration).

Amogh Leela Prabhu’s Inspirational Address
In his speech, Amogh Leela Prabhu remarked that today’s youth are more focused on “selfie management” than “self-management.” He emphasized that real change in the world begins with inner transformation. According to him, if a person embraces six principles—self-control, consistent effort, positive association, balanced relationships, emotional intelligence, and time discipline—success is inevitable. He encouraged the youth to choose careers based on their nature and to use discretion over emotion when making decisions. “Your emotions shape your vision, and that vision shapes your direction in life,” he said.

Spirituality as a Source of Discipline and Creativity
Amogh Leela Prabhu urged students to start their day early with spiritual reflection, enhancing clarity and productivity. Spirituality, he said, not only instills discipline but also fosters creativity and meaning in life. With his cheerful, relatable style, he guided students on meditation, discipline, digital balance, and self-development. “Concentration is not magic—it’s a power developed through practice. Those who master it, reach their goals,” he added. Referring to the Bhagavad Gita, he stressed the need to control the mind before trying to control the mobile phone—or else the phone will control one’s life.

Q&A Session – A Major Highlight
The seminar also featured an engaging Q&A session where Amogh Leela Prabhu answered students’ questions in an inspiring and easy-to-understand manner, giving them a fresh perspective on life and career.

Moral Values Through Spiritual Awareness
In his address, Squadron Leader A.K. Singh, Chairperson of Dr. MPS Group, said that concentration, discipline, and mental stability are key to any mission’s success. Spiritual awareness fosters moral values, laying the foundation for a better future generation.
