Agra – Colors can speak the language of the heart—this was the key message from the expressive art therapy workshop held on the third day of the Mental Health Carnival at Feelings Minds, located on Sikandra–Bodla Road. The vibrant hues spilled from paintbrushes not only gave voice to participants’ creativity but also lightened their emotional burdens.

The workshop began with a ceremonial lamp lighting and was graced by eminent personalities such as child psychiatrist and author Pallavi Niyogi, Dr. Meenakshi Thakur from Dayalbagh Educational Institute, Bindu Awasthi from Baikunthi Devi Girls College, along with Dr. Chinu Agrawal, founder and international psychologist, and co-founder Dr. Ravindra Agrawal.

Pallavi Niyogi emphasized, “Understanding a child’s expression is crucial. Many times, children are unable to articulate their emotions in words, and art becomes a powerful medium for them.”

Dr. Meenakshi Thakur and Bindu Awasthi elaborated on the psychological impact of rainbow colors and encouraged participants to express themselves through art. An art exhibition was also held as part of the workshop, where participants shared the stories and emotions behind their artworks.

Dr. Chinu Agrawal shared that the workshop, conducted in collaboration with Studio Point, saw enthusiastic participation from people of all age groups. Plans are underway to organize international art workshops and exhibitions for students from classes 3 to 12 in cities like Dubai, Berlin, and London.
