Feeling Minds Concludes Seven-Day Mental Health Carnival with Felicitation Ceremony

Union Minister Prof. S.P. Singh Baghel Inaugurates Office, Says Mental Well-being is Key to Happy Families and Society

Agra. For the first time in Agra, Feeling Minds, an organization dedicated to mental wellness, organized a seven-day long Mental Health Carnival, which concluded with a felicitation ceremony and the formal inauguration of the organization’s office at Vimal Vihar, Sikandra–Bodla Road.

The closing ceremony took place on Sunday at the Taj Hotel and Convention Centre, Shilpgram Road, with Union Minister of State Prof. S.P. Singh Baghel as the chief guest. He extended his congratulations to the organization’s founder Dr. Chinu Agrawal, an internationally acclaimed psychologist, and co-founder Dr. Ravindra Agrawal for the successful event.

Addressing the audience, the Minister said, “A positive and healthy mind is the foundation of a happy family and a harmonious society. Mental depression is on the rise today. The digital world has ended the charm of village gatherings. Even when four family members sit together for a meal, they are each lost in their mobile phones. We no longer taste food or understand joy. Social media status updates have become our new source of happiness. Feeling Minds is doing crucial work by bringing back genuine joy and emotional connection to people’s lives.”

Introducing the organization, Dr. Chinu Agrawal emphasized that Feeling Minds is committed to making psychology accessible to all. “Mental health has become a global pandemic. To address it, we must talk openly about emotional issues and mental illnesses and seek help without hesitation,” she said. The organization’s team comprises trained mental health professionals and conducts awareness campaigns across schools, colleges, and offices.

During the event, the office of Feeling Minds in Vimal Vihar was officially inaugurated by Prof. Baghel. Two books on mental health—“From Suffering to Self-Realization” (authored by Dr. Chinu Agrawal and Shyamala) and “Untangling the Mind” (focused on OCD, co-authored by Dr. Chinu Agrawal, Tanu Chowksi, and Dr. Rakesh Jain)—were also launched.

The lamp-lighting ceremony was led by Dr. Alka Kalra, Dr. Tripti, Tanu Chowksi, Ashish Agrawal, Dr. Chinu Agrawal, Dr. Ravindra Agrawal, Habib, Kudrati, Sajan Modi, Alok Kulshreshtha, and Neha Patil.

Members from across India and abroad shared their experiences. Certificates were awarded to participants of recent courses related to relationships—recipients included Harshita, Jyotsana, Nidhi, Sabina, Dr. Chandrika, Tanu, and Aakriti.

The event also highlighted the role of music and art in mental well-being, with soulful performances by Nitin and Shailesh. Co-founder Dr. Ravindra Agrawal spoke about the organization’s unique initiatives such as the Mind Club, Story Club, Gita Club, and Reading Club. The event was anchored by Neha.

Distinguished guests including Dr. Parth Baghel, Dr. Rakesh Bhatia, Mahendra Kabra, Pooja Bansal, Dr. Satya Saraswat, and Namrata Mishra graced the occasion.
