AI and Cyber Security Conclave 2025 Successfully Organized at Sharda University, Agra

Agra: Sharda University, Agra, under the Anand School of Engineering and Technology, successfully hosted the AI and Cyber Security Conclave 2025. The event brought together renowned academicians, researchers, and industry experts to discuss the rapid advancements, collaborative opportunities, and the future of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Cyber Security.

The conclave commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Chief Guest Hon’ble MP Shri Rajkumar Chahar, accompanied by Distinguished Guests including Prof. Anurag Singh (NIT Delhi), Mr. Anubhav Patrick (Global Infotech Ltd.), Mr. R.V.S. Mani (Retd. IAS), Dr. Arun Raj T. (Archaeological Survey of India), and Guest of Honor Varun R.G. The event was also graced by Hon’ble Pro-Chancellor Shri Y.K. Gupta and Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Jayanti Ranjan.

In his address, MP Rajkumar Chahar congratulated the university on organizing the conclave and emphasized the importance of youth acquiring cutting-edge skills in AI and Cyber Security. He urged students to set clear goals and stay focused, contributing to the realization of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Digital India vision.

Mr. R.V.S. Mani praised the university’s modern infrastructure and innovation-driven environment, stating that it equips students to pursue and achieve their dreams. He highlighted how AI is impacting diverse sectors such as healthcare, finance, and automotive industries, and its potential to strengthen cyber security.

Hon’ble Pro-Chancellor Y.K. Gupta lauded the initiative, calling it a transformative platform that focuses on the convergence of AI and Cyber Security. He emphasized that this hybrid event aims to explore the impact of these technologies on industry, safety, and innovation—especially in the context of India’s vision for a digitally empowered nation.

Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Jayanti Ranjan elaborated on how the conclave explores various aspects of AI and cybersecurity, including threat detection, vulnerability analysis, and incident response. She highlighted the university’s commitment to blending academic excellence with value-based education and contributing to the empowerment of farmers, youth, women, and the underprivileged, aligning with the national vision.

Conclave Convener Prof. (Dr.) R. Swaminathan stated that the event also addressed the risks and challenges associated with AI-powered cybersecurity, including the adversarial use of AI. The conclave aimed to foster collaboration and innovation by bringing together thought leaders, industry experts, government representatives, and technology pioneers.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from engineering students, researchers, academic institutions, R&D organizations, and industry professionals. Deans, directors, department heads, faculty, students, and administrative staff of Sharda University were present. The conclave concluded with best wishes and congratulations from Hon’ble Chancellor Shri P.K. Gupta, who applauded the successful execution of the event.
