Students Pledge to Protect the Planet
Agra,: A special awareness program was organized by the National Service Scheme (NSS) unit at the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET), Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Swami Vivekanand Campus, on the occasion of World Earth Day.
The objective of the event was to raise awareness about environmental protection and to highlight the importance of collective efforts in preserving the Earth. Students and faculty members of IET actively participated, sharing their thoughts on the significance of Earth and sustainable practices.

Prof. Manu Pratap Singh, Director of IET, addressed the gathering and emphasized, “Protecting the Earth is a shared responsibility. Even small efforts can lead to significant change. Let us work together for a sustainable future.” He encouraged students to become environmentally conscious and contribute positively to ecological balance.
The success of the program was made possible through the efforts of NSS Coordinator Dr. Rekha Sharma, along with Dr. Shalini Sharma, Dr. Pragya Kabra, Er. Chandan Kumar, Er. Ajay Kumar, Mr. Pushpendra Kumar Singh, Dr. Sunil Kumar, Dr. A.K. Singh, Dr. Sangeeta Singh, Er. Ankita Maheshwari, and Er. Amol Kumar, who all played key roles in organizing the event.
The event concluded with participants taking a pledge to protect the environment and continue working towards a cleaner and greener planet.
