Dargah Ajmer Sharif Condemns Pahalgam Terror Attack, Offers Prayers and Solidarity

Ajmer,In a strong and heartfelt statement, Dargah Ajmer Sharif has condemned the brutal terrorist attack that occurred in the Baisaran valley near Pahalgam, Kashmir, on April 22. The attack claimed 28 innocent lives and left over 20 people injured, sparking nationwide grief and outrage.

Haji Syed Salman Chishty, Gaddi Nashin of Dargah Ajmer Sharif and Chairman of the Chishty Foundation, expressed deep sorrow and solidarity with the victims and their families.
“This ghastly act of violence is not only a cowardly attack on innocent lives but a grave assault on the values of humanity and peace,” he said.

Calling the incident an “affront to the sanctity of life,” Chishty emphasized that such acts of terrorism aim to disrupt societal harmony and must be universally condemned. “Our prayers are with the families who have lost their loved ones. We also pray for the speedy recovery of all those who were injured and strength for all who are suffering,” he added.

Haji Syed Salman Chishty urged citizens to stay united in the face of adversity. “Let us come together to uphold the ideals of peace, compassion, and resilience. In times like these, our collective humanity must shine brighter than the darkness of hate and violence,” he stated.

He also appealed to authorities to ensure swift justice and take firm action against those responsible.
