Deadly Terrorist Attack in South Kashmir Condemned, Justice Must Be Served Swiftly: Syed Sadatullah Husaini

New Delhi: The President of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Syed Sadatullah Husaini, strongly condemned the heinous terrorist attack that took place on Tuesday in Pahalgam, South Kashmir, resulting in the tragic loss of several innocent lives, including foreign tourists. In a statement issued to the media, he expressed deep sorrow and outrage over the grave loss of life and property and called for immediate justice.

Syed Sadatullah Husaini said:
“We strongly condemn the deadly terrorist attack that occurred in Pahalgam, South Kashmir on Tuesday. The loss of innocent lives, including foreign tourists, is deeply saddening. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their grieving families. Such barbaric acts can never be justified under any circumstances. This is a completely inhuman act and must be unequivocally condemned. Those responsible must be brought to justice and given the harshest punishment.”

Emphasizing the need for moral clarity, he said that no cause — whether political, ideological, or otherwise — can ever justify such brutal violence.
“This was an inhuman act that violates every code of morality and ethics,” he stated.

The Jamaat-e-Islami Hind president urged both state and central administrations to ensure justice for the victims, strengthen security measures, and take decisive and transparent steps for the protection of vulnerable communities. He also called upon civil society, religious leaders, and the media to act responsibly and refrain from making statements that could escalate tensions or target innocent groups.
