Agra, In response to the heinous terrorist attack by Pakistan in Kashmir’s Pahalgam, where innocent civilians were killed, the Muslim community held a protest today. The protest was organized at the Kath Wali Mosque in Sadar Bhatti, Agra, led by Mohammad Sharif Qureshi, State Vice-President of All India Jamiat-ul-Quraish, and Adnan Qureshi, District President. Several prominent leaders from the Muslim community participated in the protest.
Through the memorandum, the protestors informed the Honorable President of India about their deep concerns regarding the incident. They condemned the actions of Pakistani terrorists and highlighted the impact it had on the entire nation. Senior Muslim leader Shabbir Abbas demanded that the Pakistani terrorists responsible for the killings in Pahalgam be dealt with decisively, ensuring that such acts are not repeated in the future.
The memorandum further called on the Indian government to issue a strong warning to Pakistan and to take strict measures against the terrorist organizations and their supporters. It urged that the Pakistan High Commission in Delhi be immediately shut down, and that a ban be placed on Pakistani nationals entering India. The memorandum also requested the Indian government to retaliate for the innocent lives lost in the Pahalgam attack.
Among those who submitted the memorandum were Dr. Siraj Qureshi, Shabbir Abbas, Adnan Qureshi, Mohammad Naeem, Mohammad Irshad, Mohammad Sharif Kalle, Haji Papu, Haji Qadeer, Haji Babbu, Haji Bantu, Mohammad Rais, Mohammad Sharik, and other respected members of the Muslim community.
