New Delhi, : In a solemn gesture of respect, remembrance, and gratitude, Shri Jay Shah, Chairperson of the International Cricket Council (ICC), visited Shri Rohan Jaitley, President of the Delhi & District Cricket Association (DDCA), today to pay tribute to the former DDCA President and stalwart statesman, Late Shri Arun Jaitley, on the eve of his 7th death anniversary.
Shri Jay Shah honoured the enduring legacy of Late Shri Arun Jaitley, hailing him as a visionary leader, statesman, and a true inspiration for Indian cricket administration. During the meeting, both leaders reflected on Shri Jaitley’s transformative contributions to Delhi cricket and his key role in laying the foundation for modern cricket infrastructure in the capital.
The meeting coincides with the ongoing Delhi Premier League (DPL) 2026, currently being hosted at the iconic Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi. The tournament stands as a fitting tribute to Shri Arun Jaitley’s vision of nurturing grassroots talent and providing a premier platform for young Delhi cricketers to showcase their skills on a grand stage.
