Bhubaneswar, : The players’ draft for the Odisha T20 League 2026 – CM Trophy was completed by the Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) on Sunday, with all six franchises finalising their 16-member squads for the second edition of the tournament.
The six teams competing in the league are Bhubaneswar Tigers, Puri Titans, Keonjhar Miners, Rourkela Superstars, Sambalpur Warriors and Cuttack Panthers. The draft featured several promising cricketers from across Odisha, providing them with an opportunity to showcase their talent on a competitive platform.
Former India internationals Suresh Raina and Debashish Mohanty have been named brand ambassadors of the tournament.
OCA Honorary Secretary Sanjay Behera said the completion of the draft marked an important step towards the new season. He thanked the team owners, coaches, managers and OCA members for their support and said the league would continue to create opportunities for emerging cricketers and strengthen the pathway for players to progress to the next level.
The tournament will begin on September 20, with Sambalpur Warriors facing Cuttack Panthers in the opening match. The league stage will run until September 27, followed by a Women’s Exhibition Game and the Qualifier on September 28. The final is scheduled for September 29.
The six franchises have assembled competitive squads under experienced coaching staff, setting the stage for an exciting second season of the Odisha T20 League.
