Agra – Khateeb Mohammad Iqbal of Nehar Wali Masjid remembered the martyrs of Gaza in his Friday sermon today. He said that the war which Israel started three years ago on 7th October 2023 is still ongoing. So far more than 74,000 people have been martyred and more than 175,000 have been injured. The ceasefire that was done in October 2025 exists only on paper, not on the ground. Israel has violated it more than 5,000 times in this one year and continues bombing. According to the UNO, 82 percent of buildings in Gaza have been destroyed or damaged, almost two hundred thousand buildings, of which two-thirds have been completely destroyed. It seems as if the world has perhaps forgotten Gaza. Remember, we must not forget them, this is the wound of the Ummah. The only fault of the people of Gaza is that they are believers. The whole world should remember that this ceasefire is only on paper, not on the ground, this is a betrayal of Muslims. The Holy Quran says: “Those with whom you made a treaty, then they break their covenant every time and they do not fear Allah” (Surah Al-Anfal: 56). And the Quran gives glad tidings to the believers: “Do not lose heart and do not grieve, you will be superior if you are believers” (Surah Aal-e-Imran: 139). Can anyone imagine what the conditions are in Gaza at this time, how those people are living with their sick children after their homes have been destroyed? Hospitals are almost non-existent, everywhere there are piles of rubble, graveyards are visible all around, O Gaza, your patience is higher than a mountain. The Israeli army is still occupying more than fifty percent of Gaza, reconstruction work has not even started yet, 94 percent of the population still needs tents and temporary shelters. How will it happen, in what way, till when, Allah knows best. May Allah Almighty help the oppressed of Palestine abundantly, Ameen.
