Athleton 3.0 Concludes Grandly in Lucknow, Blind Football Players Felicitated
Lucknow, The annual sports festival ‘Athleton 3.0’ was held with great enthusiasm at Indus Valley Public School, celebrating excellence in sports along with the spirit of inclusivity. The event was led by the school principal, Ms. Shyamali Srivastava, with Mr. Kanhaiya Lal, Secretary of the Lucknow District Football Association, as the Chief Guest, and international hockey player Mr. Devendra Singh as the Guest of Honour.

Special Honour for Blind Football Team
Under the banner of Uttar Pradesh Mobility India, the school honoured the Uttar Pradesh Blind Football Team for their outstanding dedication and upcoming national selection trials.

While delivering the vote of thanks, Team Manager Ayaz Khan Achchu expressed heartfelt gratitude to the school management, principal, chief guest, and guest of honour. He praised Principal Srivastava’s continuous efforts to uplift and motivate children with disabilities, calling it “truly inspiring.”
Encouraging the blind football players, he said:
“Darkness may be your companion, but determination is your light. Create history at the national trials.”
He added that physical disability is never a barrier—strong willpower paves the way for a golden future.

The school management stated that Athleton 3.0 not only promotes sportsmanship but also strengthens the message of inclusion and empowerment for specially-abled youth. The institution committed to continuing such meaningful initiatives in the future as well.
