Agra: During the fifth national conference organized by the Government of India in November 2025 on the proposed Developed India 2047 project, suggestions were sought from the Chief Secretaries of all states. Among the submissions, the suggestion by Agra District Magistrate, Mr. Arvind Mallappa Bangari, was selected.
District Magistrate Bangari provided valuable recommendations under the Department of Child Development and Nutrition, focusing on early childhood education (ECCE), nutrition, and maternal and child care. His suggestions addressed challenges such as improving Anganwadi centers, shortage of trained human resources, malnutrition, and lack of coordination between departments.
He recommended the adoption of digital and smart tools, including AI-based monitoring, smart learning kits, and enhanced training models. Highlighting successful initiatives in Agra such as Bal Vatika and Learning Labs, he suggested that these models could be replicated across the country. He emphasized that these models are budget-friendly and sustainable.
The Government of India will prepare a Digital Wall of Fame, where the photograph of District Magistrate Bangari along with his selected suggestions will be displayed.
