Agra. A peaceful, thought-provoking, and spiritual atmosphere was witnessed on Friday at Nahar Wali Mosque in Sikandra, where Khateeb Mohammad Iqbal addressed the congregation during the Friday sermon, urging Muslims to reconnect with the Quran, reflect upon the signs of Allah, and shape their lives for success in the Hereafter.
Referring to verses from Surah Ta-Ha and Surah Luqman, Mohammad Iqbal emphasized that Allah repeatedly invites humanity to think, reflect, and learn through His signs. He stated that the growing anxiety and restlessness in the world are primarily the result of distancing oneself from the Quran. When the Quran is understood and practiced in daily life, it brings peace, patience, and the right direction.
Addressing the youth in particular, he said,
“If today’s generation adopts the Quran as its guide, it can not only improve its own life but also bring positive change to society as a whole.”
He further stressed that Allah’s mercy and guidance are available to all those who sincerely reflect, reform themselves, and commit to walking the path of righteousness.
Worshippers described the sermon as deeply touching and inspiring, noting that such messages encourage self-reflection, moral reform, and a stronger connection with Allah. After the sermon, a sense of calm and spiritual serenity prevailed in the mosque.
The sermon stood as a hopeful example that promoting Quranic understanding and ethical awareness can lead to meaningful improvement in both individual lives and society at large.
