Agra: For the first time, St. Peter’s College organized a “Fireless Cooking Competition” on October 16, 2025, with enthusiastic participation from students of classes 6 to 12. Participants showcased their culinary skills by preparing delicious dishes such as Russian salad, fruit pudding, cheesecake, milkshakes, and other treats, all without using fire at any stage. Students brought all necessary ingredients, utensils, and equipment from home and were given one hour to complete their dishes.

The event was conducted under the guidance of Principal Rev. Father (Dr.) Alvin Pinto, Vice-Principal Rev. Father Louis Khes, College Coordinator Mrs. Shobha Rana, and Event Coordinators Mrs. Shanu Mahajan and Mrs. Garima Gupta. The judging panel comprised Mrs. Tripta Kalia, Mrs. Charu Sharma, and Mr. Dinman Dixit (alumnus).

Participants were evaluated on criteria including taste, presentation, creativity, uniqueness, nutritional value, technique, cleanliness, and plating. The event provided a wonderful platform for these emerging young chefs to celebrate World Food Day with innovation and skill, truly turning the day into a culinary festival.
