The social wing of Dawat-e-Islami India, GNRF, concluded its De-addiction Awareness Week under the “Say No to Drugs” campaign across the Agra Division. The campaign witnessed active participation from around 200 volunteers, who conducted more than 100 street-corner awareness programs (nukkad programs) in different localities.

The primary objective of the campaign was to keep society—especially the youth—away from the serious social menace of drug abuse and to motivate them towards a healthy, positive, and responsible lifestyle. Through these programs, the general public was made aware of the harmful effects of drugs. Speakers emphasized that addiction adversely affects an individual’s health, family life, and future.
Office bearers of the organization expressed gratitude to the general public and volunteers for their enthusiastic participation and appealed to everyone to stay away from drugs and actively cooperate in protecting others from this social evil.
The De-addiction Awareness Week was organized under the chairmanship of GNRF Agra Division President Advocate Haji Shanu Qureshi. During the program, Raza Khan administered an oath, pledging that participants would never indulge in drugs in the future and would continue spreading awareness in society.
Prominent participants included Faizal Attari, Aman Alvi, Afroz Ansari, Shahid Ali, Arif Khan, Furqan, Junaid, Ashfaq, Shahrukh, Asif, Dilshad, and several other members of the organization.
