Agra: Mr. Mukesh Kumar Mehsham, Principal Secretary – Animal Husbandry, Dairy & Fisheries Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh, visited Yuvan Agro Goat Farm today. He was warmly welcomed by the Farm Director Mr. D.K. Singh and his team.
During the inspection, Mr. Mehsham appreciated the farm’s state-of-the-art facilities, modern management system of 5,000 goats, and its commitment to sustainable animal husbandry. He highlighted that Yuvan Agro Farm is setting an exemplary model of scientific and technical goat farming in North India.
He also proposed enhancing collaboration between the department and the farm to develop more effective projects in the livestock sector. Farm Director Mr. D.K. Singh informed that the farm currently works with 500 farmers, with plans to expand to 4,000 farmers in the coming years.
The farm management expressed gratitude for Mr. Mehsham’s guidance, calling it crucial for future growth. This visit marks a positive step toward government-private collaboration in agriculture and animal husbandry in Uttar Pradesh.
