Agra, – Dr. MPS World School celebrated the birth anniversary of the first Sikh Guru and founder, Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj, with deep devotion and reverence at the Atulya Bharat Cultural Auditorium. The event’s central message was: “Satguru Nanak manifested light in the world; with Nanak’s name, may prosperity rise and may everyone’s well-being flourish.”

The ceremony began with a special prayer session and chanting of the sacred mantra. Students performed a play depicting Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s life, highlighting his humanitarian values and teachings. The event also featured a soul-stirring rendition of Gurbani Kirtan, leaving everyone mesmerized.

School Chairman Squadron Leader A.K. Singh, in his inspiring address, emphasized that Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s ideals are not only for Sikhs but for the entire human race. He noted that Guru Sahib dedicated his life to social welfare, challenged superstition and social evils, and promoted love, unity, and religious tolerance during turbulent times.
Principal Rakhi Jain extended warm wishes to all on this festival of light, highlighting that Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s life serves as a guiding example of truth, compassion, and equality.
The event was attended by Dean Administrator Chandrashekhar Dang, Avineet Grover, Shreya Sharma, Nivedita Agrawal, and the entire school staff. The stage was hosted by students Harman and Siddak Preet Singh, and the celebration concluded with the National Anthem.
