Satish Mahana to be Chief Guest, Grand Beginning from Agra
Agra: Preparations are underway for the oath-taking ceremony of Amit Khatri, newly elected President of the Provincial Khatri Sabha, Uttar Pradesh. A press conference and poster unveiling event was held on Wednesday at Aahar Restaurant, Sanjay Place.
President Amit Khatri informed that the ceremony will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2025, from 11:00 AM at Opal Courtyard, Sikandra, Agra. Satish Mahana, Speaker of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly, will be the chief guest. Distinguished guests include Vinay Madhav Khanna (Kanpur), President of All Khatri Sabhas, and Kishore Kumar Seth (Ghaziabad), Treasurer.
Amit Khatri emphasized that the event is not just about assuming a position, but an opportunity to serve society. He said the Khatri community has always played a leading role in nation-building and social development. “In the coming times, we will focus on education, youth empowerment, social collaboration, and strengthening unity. Our goal is to reach every section of society and instill a sense of pride in every individual,” he added.
Prominent attendees included Ram Kapoor, Sheila Behl, Vikas Kakkar, Bunty Grover, Neha Sehgal, Siddhi Kapoor, Raju Mehra, Dr. Arun Kapoor, Naveen Arora, Prem Sagar Chaddha, among others. They appealed to all community members to participate and contribute to the success of the event.
During the program, the poster for the oath-taking ceremony was also unveiled, outlining the full schedule of the event. Organizers confirmed that all arrangements for the reception and accommodation of guests have been completed. They stated that this historic beginning from Agra will send a message of renewed enthusiasm and unity across the state.
