Agra: An RTE (Right to Education) registration camp was organized today at Primary School Baluganj to help parents enroll their children under the provisions of the RTE Act.
During the camp, 35 parents approached the help desk to seek information about the scheme. Out of them, 17 eligible children were successfully registered for free admission under Section 12(1)(C) of the RTE Act in private schools.
Parents who attended the camp were also informed about schools in their respective wards where seats are still vacant under the RTE quota. In addition, pamphlets were distributed among them so that they could spread awareness in their neighborhoods and encourage other eligible parents to register their children.
The organizers appealed to the community to take advantage of the RTE scheme and ensure that more eligible children get the opportunity for free education in private schools.
