Heartfelt Thanks to CM Yogi Adityanath for Honouring Matrushakti on Raksha Bandhan
Agra, : On the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan, Dr. Manju Bhadauria, Chairperson of the Agra Zila Panchayat, expressed her heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for the launch of the Lokmata Ahilyabai Matrushakti Yatra Scheme, dedicated to the dignity, self-respect and empowerment of women.
Dr. Bhadauria said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the Uttar Pradesh government has been continuously taking effective steps for the respect, safety, self-reliance and empowerment of women. The newly launched scheme will provide lifetime free bus travel to women aged 60 years and above across the state, making it an important public welfare initiative.
She said the scheme, inspired by the ideals of Lokmata Ahilyabai Holkar, particularly her commitment to public welfare, good governance and service, will make travel easier for elderly women while strengthening their dignity, confidence and independence.
Dr. Bhadauria said that presenting free bus travel to elderly women on Raksha Bandhan reflects the state government’s sensitivity and commitment towards women’s welfare and empowerment.
She further informed that she participated in the live telecast of the scheme’s launch programme held at the auditorium in Etah district. She said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, significant initiatives are continuously being undertaken in the areas of women’s safety, education, healthcare, employment, dignity and self-reliance.
Dr. Bhadauria expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on behalf of the women of Agra, describing the initiative as an important step towards making elderly women more independent, confident and empowered.
She expressed confidence that under the guidance of the Chief Minister, women across Uttar Pradesh will continue to play an important role in making the state stronger, self-reliant and empowered.
